Way too early to gain any useful Mole intelligence, but... My gut says that Baldwin and Bersen are players, not Moles-- they're simply too entertaining playing it straight for the producers to muck about by making one of them the Mole. Everhart's "make them think I'm the Mole" ploy is either a brilliant bit of double-reverse psychology, or it's exactly what she said it was. I'm counting her out as a Mole.
That leaves Rodman, Curry, Gold, and Pulliam. Who is the Mole?
Posted by Peter at January 8, 2004 12:59 AMMy early pick is Curry, mainly because TPTB have shown that they enjoy switching mole-types from season to season. Civillian 1 was the youngish lawyer female, Civillian 2 was the retired military man (who I picked from day one on this logic, then confirmed after the telegram spoiler (STILL the only decent clue they've given to the identity of The Mole)), Celeb 1 was the fashion model, so I can see Celeb 2 going for the funny man. Plus, if they learned from Celeb 1 that they need a comedian to go all the way to keep the show interesting, this is a sure way to get it.
My only pick-up on the Mole's identity was Ananda's words as she first stood up after the execution, to the effect of "I knew I screwed up the first one." Interpretation: She meant the first question on the quiz, "Is The Mole male or female?" Assumption: She had no idea who the Mole was, and selected Female randomly, realizing soon afterward that, assuming she wasn't the Mole, she had picked the 3/7 choice instead of the 4/7 choice.
